When are the sessions?
Our sessions are Monday to Friday and run 9.00am-11.30am and 11.30am-2.00pm. We do have the option for your little one to do an extra hour from 11.30am-12.30pm.
There is also an option for you to book your child in from 9.00am-2.00pm.

What ages is the childcare suitable for?
We look after children aged newborn to 5 years.
When we have children of all ages, the team provide resources and activities for all ages, and if needed we split the children in to age appropriate groups for the day.

How many places are available per session?
We limit our sessions to a maximum of 12 children. This way, we can make sure each child gets high quality care.
We work in line with the Care Inspectorate regulations for ratios so we ensure there is a 1 staff: 3 children ratio for under 2s and a 1:5 for over 2s at all times.

How far in advance should I book a session?
We wanted to make our sessions as flexible as possible. We run with the school terms and booking are available a term in advance. You can book a whole term a head or you can book a day in advance, whatever works for you and your family!

Can I have a tour of the playroom before booking?
Absolutely! All parents and children will have a tour of the playroom and one complimentary session.

What kind of activites are on offer?
We love supporting children through their play so we offer a large range of resources for all ages, from arts and crafts to role play, messy play and construction. We also have the beautiful grounds of Inverleith Park to explore.

Do you provide for children with special needs?
Yes. We strive to be an inclusive childcare setting and therefore our staff welcome children of all needs and ability. Please make sure you note any medical details on registration and inform staff on your first visit.

What information do you need from me to make a booking?
Before your child’s first session, you’ll need to fill in the online registration form. This will be printed of by the RLO staff and you will be asked to hand around for the first 10 minutes of the session to go through all your permissions and your child’s needs.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring nappies, wipes and healthy snacks/lunch for your child. We cannot reheat food so bring food that can be easily given to your child ie- sandwiches, fruit and veg. Pre mixed/carton milk if needed!
We have full access to the Inverleith park so make sure your child is wearing appropriate clothing - wellies/waterproofs on the rainy days and hats and scarfs on the cold days.
Children will be offered messy play during their session so a change of clothes would also be advisable.

Can I cancel or move a session?
Of course you can! We aim to provide flexible childcare and we understand arrangements change.
Please email enquiries@raisinglittleones.co.uk as soon as you know your Little One will not attend their booked session. If you are cancelling within 24 hours, the session will be cancelled and you will not be credited. Please give us more than 24 hours to allow us to credit your account!
Unfortunately we can not refund so please ensure you give notice for cancellations to gain credit to your RLO account.

How much is a session?
We have multiple options when it comes to sessions here at RLO! We have a full day session that runs from 9am until 2pm. Our morning session runs from 9am until 11:30am and you can add on an extra hour to extend the session until 12:30pm. When booked together, the morning session and extra hour will have a discount applied.
Full day session (9am-2pm) costs £50.
Morning session (9am-11:30am) costs £25.
