MARCH ROUND UP
A lot of the children have been learning their colours, so this month we have been using colours to help us with our fine motor skills. We had a fun filled week for book week celebrating our favourite stories and words! The tuff tray was MESSY for book week. The children splashed about in alphabet spaghetti trying to spell their own names and words. We did a few science experiments this month to celebrate Science week! The older children were very good at developing their fine motor skills with the pipettes and the younger children splashed about in the water and made the foam change colour! We also celebrated Easter and Holi this month. Not only did we help the Easter bunny find the Eggs, we celebrated colour, love and spring for Holi.
WHATS HAPPENING IN APRIL
In April, we will be celebrating hat makes us special, Ramadan, Spring and the Earth. We hope your Little Ones have a fun time and share their exciting experiences with you!
NEW CHILDREN
We have welcomed lots of new faces this month and we can not wait to get to know you all. If you would like to get to know us better, please feel free to grab them for a chat! During your settle and first few sessions we try our best to get to know your child, but please give us any information you feel may help us with the settling in process!
STAFFING
This month we are welcoming Callie and Connie in to Raising Little Ones. Callie is starting her NQ at College in August and we are excited to see her flourish as a RLO practitioner. Connie will be helping us with lunch cover over the summer months before she starts University in September. We hope your little ones build great relationships with them both! We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Claire who was covering Becca on her Maternity leave. Welcome back to Becca and she is looking forward to meeting all the new children and parents! Please come and say hi to her when dropping/collecting your Little One.
REMINDERS
As the weather is getting slightly nicer we will be enjoying more Forest Kindergarten days and our garden. However, we do live in Scotland! so please make sure your child is dressed for the weather. Please bring wellies and waterproofs so your Little One can enjoy the outdoors.
