March at Raising Little Ones…
This March at RLO has been super busy! We have been exploring the outdoors in the different weathers March has brought us! We have also been reading some new books including; The Smeds and the Smoos, Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Colour Monster! Our favourite activity this month was our edible tuff tray where we made porridge like in Goldilocks and the Three Bears! The little ones ended up enjoying tasting the porridge!

Day in the life of Silvie…
As Silvie is a new member of the team, we thought by sharing a day in the life, this would be a great way to help you get to know her a little more!
I start my morning by helping to set the room up and then as the little ones come in I help by taking their jackets and shoes off in order to get ready to play! During the day I enjoy spending time with the children supporting their development by extending their play experiences. I love to get mucked in and work as a team with the other girls to ensure every day runs smoothly. One of my favourite parts of my job at RLO, is being able to support the little ones with their development and seeing the children smiling and having fun!
After my day at RLO, there are a couple of days a week that I nanny for a family, then one day a week I run sessions with children in primary 3-7 doing drama. On days I am not doing this, I work at the Festival Theatre or spend time with my friends!
